Who's
the Next Rapper to be Arrested?
Words: Low
October 8th, 2007
Law
enforcement officials across the country
really seem to have it in for rap artists.
It's apparently clear that this is the
case especially since a rapper is arrested
on a weekly basis, at least it seems.
Now, there's the recent incident regarding
Lil Wayne's arrest in Idaho. According
to Boise city police, Lil Wayne was arrested
Saturday morning (October 6th) for being
a fugitive in the state of Idaho, because
of an arrest warrant issued in Georgia.
Damn, and I'm suppose to believe that
Boise's Finest didn't have more important
cases to follow up on like a multi-thousand
dollar potato theft or something?
I'm sure the Boise police department started
investigating Lil Wayne as soon as they
found out he was going to be performing
in their city. Some would say that the
police are simply doing what they're paid
to do. But I believe law enforcement officials
would probably have similar results if
they would profile rock, country, or pop
stars. You don't think so? Well, I guess
we'll never know for sure.
But I do have some advise for all of the
rappers out there, and that's watch your
back. Well, actually stop catching cases
on some ignant shit! And no that's not
a typo. We all know that the majority
of rappers are black males and we also
know that black males are constantly profiled
by law enforcement agencies. I'm not a
rapper and I can't even hit the highway
without po-po tailing me so they can run
my tags. So it would be in your best interest
to clear up any outstanding warrants and
stop touring with drugs and guns. Oh yeah,
stop getting arrested for the sake of
a publicity stunt, that's some ignant
shit too!
