NY Promoter Suing Young Thug For $360K After Concert No-Show

Young Thug is being sued by a New York promoter who claims he lost $360,000 after cancelling a concert Young Thug was supposed to headline.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, New York promoter Nicholas Fitts filed a lawsuit last month in a Cobb County, Georgia court against the rapper and his Smyrna-based company YSL Enterprises.

The lawsuit says Young Thug, whose, name is Jeffrey Williams, had signed a $55,000 contract to play an August concert at Sahlens Stadium in Rochester, New York and alleges the rapper “did not have a valid legal reason for his failure to perform.”

Fitts says he lost more than $200,000 in lost tickets sales, $57,000 in promotional costs, $27,500 for a deposit, $11,216 in security costs, and $33,600 for lighting and sound.

Court records show that Young Thug nor YSL Enterprises has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
