Who
is Elle Capone?
Elle Capone (pronounced L Kuh-pone);
I 'm every woman; your favorite
boss, your role model, your home-girl
from up the block, and everybody's
favorite M.I.L.F. I'm the Street
Sweetheart. Elle means couture,
classic, radiant with femininity.
Capone means I'm a Boss. Google
me, there's only one.
How long have
you been modeling?
My grandmother will tell you that
I was two when I came proudly walking
down the steps, waving my little
hand to "Here she comes, Miss
America!” I officially got my start
in 1995 doing beauty pageants in
Virginia, Indiana, and Illinois.
After I turned 18 I wanted to take
charge of my career and I began
doing spokes model work and videos
for photographers and artists in
the VA/MD/DC area. Finally in 2006
I started Hun E. & Nem Ent.
to promote my talents and to create
a home for other creative young
women to team up.
Do you have
any interesting hobbies?
I LOVE to write! For magazines,
for radio, scripts, lyrics (neo-soulish-popish-hip-hopish-rockish
that NEW back in the day stuff).
I also design Oscar Night worthy
gowns and Street Chic wear for women.
Got a HUGE event coming up and you
need to look fresh, fab, fierce
and like that totally-one-of-a-kind
star you were born to be?? Hun.
E I suggest you let me dress you!
What do you
love about hip-hop?
I love that hip-hop has grown into
this great big, colorless, culture
that has been embraced by people
of all walks of life all around
the world. Hip-hop has long survived
the so-called "trend"
phase, and will thrive for many
decades to come.
What do you
dislike about hip-hop?
I don't like that hip-hop is being
used as a tool to define an entire
culture of people. I like to listen
to certain rappers talk about being
at the trap house all day and spending
money on big cars, not because I
glorify hustlin' but because I feel
good hearing that man talk about
a situation that he has overcome.
That gives me the hope and gives
me the inspiration to push hard
and use my mind and my voice to
get me out of my current struggles.
Of course as a woman I disagree
with the light that most women are
portrayed in hip-hop, BUT if these
women weren't selling their souls
for "face-time" these
men wouldn't be able to talk about
them.
I’m sure
you got a myspace page. What’s the
most retarded message a guy has
ever sent you?
Hey! Don't I know you from high
school or something? No wait, I
think it might have been, "I
saw you at Food Lion buying diapers
did you see me?! but that was more
cyber-stalker scary than retarded.
What’s the
best way to spend a Saturday night?
With good food, good green, a purse
full of money, and of course good
people.
Give me an
example of a romantic setting?
*Giggles* Romance?? It's all in
the moment. It's not about planning
out every second you're about to
spend with someone, it's about spontaneously
making an ordinary moment a warm
and fuzzy memory. Making someone
feel like you're the only two in
the universe in a crowded room,
that's romantic.
What’s your
most sexy attribute?
My brain and my heart. Having a
child brought me to the sad realization
that vanity is short lived. I'm
smart, ambitious and compassionate.
I have to rely on those qualities,
not my looks to keep me ahead in
this world.
Sexually
related: “In the heat of the moment,”
what can be done to spoil it for
you?
A late start or an early finish.
